Donald Lew, Managing Partner, JDL Development, a Limited Liability Company
Managing a family owned partnership with a focus on private equity investments in innovative companies with disruptive technologies within the health care, natural and renewable resources and green technology markets. JDL Development currently works closely with its' portfolio companies in renewable energy, telecommunications and health care. Mr. Lew leads a team of experts tasked with identifying suitable investments, structuring and syndicating those investments and managing these portfolio clients with value added services, all with an expected four year investment exit. Mr. Lew has relevant prior investment banking and corporate finance experience at Drexel Burnham and Merrill Lynch and private mortgage banking experience at North Star Realty, San Francisco Trust Mortgage and American Realty & Development. As a trained civil engineer employed with Bechtel Corp, he has participated in the construction of nuclear and coal power plants and various mining and metals recovery projects around the world.
Harold J. Gentner, Esq., General Counsel, JDL Development, a Limited Liability Company
Mr. Gentner serves provides the company with advise on all legal matters including copyright, service mark and trade secret protection. He designs and reviews contracts, leases, investment agreements, financing documentation, sales and consulting agreements, letters of intent, private placement memorandums and business development proposals. He served as the external investment advisor and sponsor of several public equity REITs including Peregrine Real Estate Trust (formerly) Commonwealth Equity Trust, USA REIT, California Real Estate Investment Trust and its subsidiary Del E. Webb Investment Properties Inc. Educated at Rutgers College, Thomas Jefferson School of Law and the Univesity of California San Diego School of Law in Taxation, Mr. Gentner is licensed to practice in California and New York State and Federal Courts and holds a California Real Estate Brokers license.
